The successful conclusion of 2021 IEEE International Conference on Electronic Information Engineering and Computer Science (IEEE-EIECS 2021)
IEEE-EIECS 2021 was successfully held in Changchun from September 24 to 25.
The conference was hosted by Changchun University of Science and Technology (CUST), undertook by School of Electronic Information Engineering CUST, School of Computer Science CUST, Academic Exchange Information Center (AEIC), and organized in collaboration with Jilin University, Northeastern University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Northeast Normal University, Changchun University of Technology, Changchun University, Northeast Electric Power University, Beihua University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Sichuan University, Beijing University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Qingdao University, Shandong University of Technology, South China University of Technology, Nanjing University of Technology, Tianjin University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and Changchun Institute of Technology.
This conference set up a combination of conference reports, online and offline oral reports, focusing on various themes such as electronic information engineering, computer science, control science and engineering. It attracted a total of 300 senior experts, research talents and young scholars from universities, research institutes and enterprises at home and abroad to share scientific research results, explore cutting-edge technologies and discuss their development trends in electronic information engineering and computer science.
The opening ceremony was held on the south campus of CUST on September 24. The conference invited Prof. Yuegang Fu, Vice President of CUST, Prof. Zhihong Qian, Chairman of the Conference, Dean Yunqing Liu, President of Organizing Committee, and Dean Zhengang Jiang as well as guests from Organizing Committee, including Prof. Xingguang Li and Prof. Weida Zhan.

9 experts including the team of Jiang Huilin (an academician of Information and Electronics Engineering Division, Chinese Academy of Engineering), Prof. Zhiwu Li of Xidian University (an IEEE Fellow), Prof. Jizhong Zhu of South China University of Technology, WAAS Academician, Prof. Georgios Theodoropoulos of Southern University of Science and Technology, Prof. Daowen Qiu of Sun Yat-Sen University, Prof. Jian Yao of Wuhan University, Prof. Fengfeng Zhou of Jilin University, Prof. Huijie Zhang of Northeast Normal University, Prof. Chunyi Chen of CUST were invited as special guests to give keynote speeches. The contents of the report covered space laser communication network technology, DES modeling and control, the frontier for Info-Symbiotic Systems, etc. Experts and researchers had shared their wonderful academic achievements, guided the route of future research, and won waves of applause from the experts and scholars participating in the conference.

On September 25, both offline and online conferences begun at the same time. There were 16 oral reports in the offline overflow-rooms for lively discussions, so as the online reports.

The organizing committee issued awards on site for distinguished guests in the fields of electronic information engineering and computer science to promote continuous breakthroughs, accelerate the training of reserve talents, and further promote the electronic information engineering and computer science in China.

The conference ended in the sound of discussion and applause of experts and scholars. Participating scholars had enriched their knowledge by presenting research results and conducting cutting-edge academic discussions with experts. Many found that it’s pretty rewarding after attending IEEE-EIECS 2021. The two-day conference was not enough for them. At the same time, the Organizing Committee also announced that the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Electronic Information Engineering and Computer Science has also entered preparatory stage. We will meet again in next September.
As one of the organizers of IEEE-EIECS 2021, AEIC assisted the successful convening of the conference with practical actions. In the future, AEIC will continue to uphold the academic service spirit of “professionalism and concentration”, and take the promotion of academic prosperity as the starting point and stopping point to carry out various academic exchange activities, jointly promoting academic research and its application.
