From September 26 to 28, 2025, the 5th International Conference on Electronic Information Engineering and Computer Science (EIECS 2025) was successfully held at the Library Lecture Hall of Changchun University of Science and Technology (East Campus). The conference was organized by the Jilin Province Electronics Society, hosted by Changchun University of Science and Technology, undertaken by the School of Electronic Information Engineering, and co-organized by the School of Computer Science and Technology and the School of Artificial Intelligence.
Nearly 200 experts and scholars from the fields of electronic information and computer science at home and abroad gathered in Changchun. The event featured 6 keynote speeches, 31 oral presentations, and over one hundred poster displays, facilitating multi-dimensional and in-depth academic exchanges. This provided all attendees with a richly informative and insightful academic feast.

On the morning of September 27, the conference officially opened amid a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. Professor Dong Keyan, Vice President of Changchun University of Science and Technology, was invited to deliver the opening remarks, extending sincere and warm welcome to all the distinguished guests who had traveled from afar. In his speech, he emphasized that the current new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is accelerating and deepening. Against this backdrop, the conference, themed on “Electronic Information Engineering and Computer Science,” aims to build an open, inclusive, and collaboratively innovative international academic communication platform. It endeavors to promote profound collision and cross-disciplinary integration of academic ideas, injecting strong academic momentum and technical support into the cultivation of new types of productivity.

Following Vice President Dong Keyan’s opening speech, the conference proceeded to the exciting keynote presentation sessions. Professor Jia Weijia, Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Future Networks Institute at Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus; Professor Fan Pingyi, Director of the Open-source Data Cognition Innovation Center, Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University; Professor Dave Towey, Chair of Computer Science, School of Engineering, University of Nottingham Ningbo China; Professor Suleman Mazhar from Harbin Engineering University; Professor Gong Yandong from Beijing Information Science and Technology University; and Professor Liu Bin from Dalian University of Technology each delivered in-depth keynote speeches related to their respective research fields. During these sessions, experts shared cutting-edge achievements and academic viewpoints, not only building a deep communication bridge for conference participants but also providing valuable opportunities to absorb the latest industry knowledge and broaden academic horizons.

The on-site academic atmosphere was exceptionally vibrant, filled with lively intellectual exchanges. The oral presentation sessions innovatively adopted a hybrid “online + offline” dual-venue mode. Thirty-one scholars from universities, research institutes, and enterprises at home and abroad delivered concentrated oral reports, sharing their latest research outcomes and breakthroughs in their fields. Concurrently, 125 academic posters were collected, vividly demonstrating the vigorous research activity and strong innovation potential within the domain. Additionally, EIECS 2025 specially selected and awarded three major honors: Outstanding Papers, Excellent Young Scholar Reports, and Outstanding Posters, to commend advanced achievements and outstanding talents, further promoting high-quality discipline development and fostering cross-field academic interaction and in-depth communication.

With the concerted efforts and strong support from all parties, the conference concluded successfully. It not only showcased the latest research achievements and cutting-edge technological breakthroughs in electronic information engineering and computer science but also established an efficient academic exchange bridge, powerfully driving deep intellectual collisions and viewpoint integration within the field.
